melrose’s garden

Nestled alongside the homestead, this intimate garden setting offers a beautiful and secluded space to exchange your vows. Enclosed by stone walls and framed by striking black wrought iron gates, the purpose-built arbour creates a dramatic focal point while maintaining a romantic, outdoor feel.

Ideal for over 100 guests, this space provides comfort and privacy for your vows without losing the charm of an open-air ceremony.

OLIVE TREE lawns

Choose to say your vows beside the olive tree in Rankine’s Paddock, designed to accommodate up to 100 guests.

Perfectly positioned at the front of the property, this space offers a seamless transition from ceremony to celebration.

The area can accommodate a large marquee for up to 150 guests. Nearby, a striking outdoor fireplace creates a beautiful focal point and is especially inviting for winter weddings.

Fireplaces, leadlight glass and elegant period features add character throughout, while the belvedere offers breathtaking 360-degree views across the plains. With luxurious accommodation for up to 14 guests, your family and bridal party are beautifully catered for in one stunning, light-filled setting.

the coach house

Privately nestled on the site of the original coach house, this romantic suite is a beautifully appointed, self-contained retreat designed especially for the bridal couple. Featuring a light-filled open-plan living and entertainment space, a separate bedroom and a private ensuite, it offers the perfect blend of modern comfort and timeless charm. Located beside the homestead, it’s also a favourite spot to gather and get ready on the wedding morning — relaxed, spacious and just steps from the celebrations.

the workers’ cottages

Located on-site overlooking the serene banks of the Angas River, two quaint stone cottages offer a charming and private retreat for guests. Originally built in 1918 as workers’ accommodation, these thoughtfully restored cottages now blend historic character with modern comfort. Each cottage sleeps two guests, providing a peaceful escape surrounded by natural beauty.
